T.Young - Upcoming Art Events

Hello All! Hope this message finds you well and enjoying our fabulous spring. 

I have a few art events to announce, starting with the 2012 spring St. Paul Art Crawl which is nearing in a few weeks. April 27, 28 & 29th. This will be my 5th spring Art Crawl! Not only will I have a full floor to ceiling splash of art (as I usually do :) - the JAX Building will have a record 28 plus artists in 25 plus open studios. Photographer Tom Dunn shares JAX Studio 204 with me and will also have new works. The light rail work in the Lowertown area of downtown St Paul is just about done ... a little bit here and there, but not bad at all. You can find parking in the area either street or there are several affordable pay lots. Be sure to check out the St Paul Art Crawl website for other art locations too!

Next up in May is the North East Minneapolis Arts Assn (NEMAA) ART-A-WHIRL® Open Studio & Gallery Tour. I share studio space with Sculptor Shannyn Joy Potter in Studio 341 at the Northrup King Bldg. Art-A-Whirl happens May 18, 19 & 20 and is the North East Mpls arts districts biggest art event of the season! NKB Studio 341 will showcase my larger paintings (24" x 36" and up). I'll also have many original unframed paintings on paper for sale too. Studio 341 will be open all three days; I however will only be there Friday the 18th & Saturday the 19th. 

Lowertown First Fridays (LFF) Open Studio Night will NOT be held in May but will resume June 1st . . .  JAX Studio 204 will be open 6-9 PM.
